Attention all Disney fans and EPCOT enthusiasts! We have some breaking news that might just leave you feeling a little deflated. The beloved Trading Post Refreshments Bar in the Canada Pavilion has permanently closed its doors as of February 27, 2026.
This cozy bar, nestled within the vibrant Canada Pavilion, was a go-to spot for many visitors seeking a taste of Canadian hospitality. From a selection of Canadian beers and ice wines to non-alcoholic options, it offered something for everyone. But here's where it gets controversial... the closure leaves us with more questions than answers.
We were there just a few days ago, on February 24th, and noticed the menu had vanished. Yet, the bar remained open. It's a mystery as to why it closed so abruptly. Canned and bottled beer will still be available at the merchandise store, but ice wine enthusiasts will have to head to Le Cellier, the Pavilion's table-service restaurant, for their fix.
Take a look at the last glimpse of the menu above, featuring an array of champagnes, Canadian beers, wines, and non-alcoholic choices. We can't help but wonder what this space will transform into when it reopens. Will it be a new dining experience or something entirely different?
While the Trading Post Refreshments Bar may be gone, the Canada Pavilion still has plenty to offer. From the sweet treats at the Canada Popcorn Cart to the snacks and beverages at Joffrey's, there's no shortage of delicious options. And let's not forget the sit-down dining at Le Cellier, a true culinary delight.
For the little ones, there's the Kidcot Fun Stop, and for all ages, the captivating Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360, narrated by the late Catherine O'Hara, and live entertainment on the Canada Mill Stage. It's a pavilion full of wonders!
